Tests show Vita Grow Anti-Wilt surpasses all other products in its class. Sold as a concentrate, this product should be diluted and sprayed onto the leaves of cuttings or newly transplanted starts.
Anti-Wilt provides a thin membrane to cover the leaves and does not allow water to escape, yet lets the leaves breathe. This layer of anti wilt spray keeps the plant from wilting and allows the plant to establish new roots.
Also it should be noted that it is not nice to insects, bacteria, fungus, and yeast and is a perfect product to keep unwanted life forms from establishing colonies on new clones/cuttings/starts.
May also be used on Christmas wreaths to keep them fresh and smelling good. The very best you can buy! Goes a long way. Dilution rate is 7 parts water to 1 part concentrate. It may be used with the Vita Grow Rooting Compound for superior cloning.
Shake well before use. Store at room temperature. Standard strength dilution ratio: 1 part Anti-Wilt Concentrate to 7 parts water. Agressive strength dilution ratio: 1 part Anti-Wilt Concentrate to 3-4 parts water. If beading occurs and product does not coat leaves add more Anti-Wilt Concentrate to the spray bottle.
For Propagation: Treat your cutting with Vita Grow Rooting Compound and place the cutting into a moist propagating media. completely coat the top and bottom of the leaves and stems with Vita Grow Anti-Wilt Spray. One application is usually enough, however, check the leaves to make sure a complete coat has been applied. Cuttings may be misted with water after the Vita Grow Anti-Wilt Spray has dried. Shake the bottle well before using. Store at room temperature.
For Transplanting: Water the plants thoroughly. Completely coat the upper and lower leaves and stems with Vita Grow Anti-Wilt Spray 24-48 hours before transplanting. One application is usually enough, however, check the leaves to make sure a complete coat has been applied. Two applications give greater protection from frost, freeze or drying winds. Normal precipitation will not affect its tough coating. When needed reapply every 45-60 days.
